Data processing

In this section we explain how we process your data, where it is stored, which security measures are used, and who has access to it.

WooCommerce (webshop software)

Our webshop is developed using WooCommerce software. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide technical support and will never use it for any other purpose. WooCommerce is contractually obligated to implement appropriate security measures. WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected or stored.

Vimmex (web hosting)

We use Vimmex for web hosting and email services. Vimmex processes personal data on our behalf and does not use this data for its own purposes. Vimmex may collect metadata about the use of its services; this is not personal data. Vimmex has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss or unauthorized use of your personal data and is bound by a confidentiality agreement.

Mailchimp (email and mailing lists)

We send our newsletters via Mailchimp. Mailchimp will never use your name or email address for its own purposes. Every automated email sent through our website contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Mailchimp stores your personal data and uses cookies and other internet technologies to track whether emails are opened and read. Mailchimp reserves the right to use this information to improve its services and may share this information with third parties for that purpose.

Cookies

Artysani uses cookies to optimize the functionality of certain pages of the website. Cookies are small data files stored on your device by your browser. Cookies are commonly used by webshops and ensure, for example, that your shopping cart does not reset when navigating between pages.

Tracking cookies

We also use tracking cookies to collect information about your behavior on our website. This data helps us improve our website and tailor content and advertisements to your interests and preferences.

Disabling cookies

If you do not wish to accept cookies, you can adjust your browser settings accordingly. Please note that disabling cookies may cause parts of the website to function improperly.

All third parties involved are bound to confidentiality by agreement, oath, or legal obligation.

Legal and criminal investigations

In certain cases, Artysani may be legally required to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by governmental authorities. In such cases, we will comply with legal obligations while protecting your rights to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you remain a customer. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. Such a request will be treated as a request for deletion.

Due to legal administrative obligations, invoices containing personal data must be retained for the applicable statutory period.
